i want to make theater-like popcorn at home using a popcorn machine. if i use just butter, will it tast like theater popcorn?

A neighbor gave me an old, theater popcorn machine some time ago. It is the red, yellow and glass kind of popcorn machines that you still see in theaters today. There is no name on it who the manufacturer is though. I need to figure out how to rewire it and put it back together to use in the home. Thanks!

I got a mini version of a movie theater popcorn popper the kettle kind I put the recommened amount of oil and popcorn in the machine and expected it to be just like movie theater but it was still just like hotair what can I do to make it more like movie theater please help what can i do

Some theaters’ popcorn taste as though they are already buttery, though we never add the liquid butter. They scoop it directly out of the machine. Is it okay to eat this popcorn or will it likely have butter on it? I have tried looking up nutritional information for movie theater popcorn online, yet it is never thorough and often hard to find.

Every time I go to the movie theater I feel the urge to get some of their amazing popcorn, but I want the popcorn quality at home. Does anyone know of a cheap popcorn machine or maybe a way to make good movie theater popcorn at home? If not what’s your favorite microwavable popcorn?

please be honest! like, a REAL popcorn machine! maybe i will just get it in the kids playroom. but anyone know where i can get a mini popcorn machine exacly like the ones at the movies that makes REAL movie theater popcorn? links? tips? THANKS! (sorry im acting a little weird today )
