So i work at a movie theater around my town (im 16) and last night i was at concessions. I had this woman come up and she was like " i want a large popcorn, some skittles and a large coke" so i was like "okay hold on" and i had to finish what i was making my other customer first. And this rude lady was like "hurry up with my order" and i didnt hear her and she screamed "HELLO!!!" and it scared me and so i turned around really fast and i burned my arm on the popcorn machine. and she laughed and said "you got what you deserved"

and i got mad at her laughing and i said something to her i shouldnt have and she went to my manager and got me fired. I didnt even get the chance to explain to him what happened. i just dont think thats fair.

i now have a huge burn on my arm and im fired.

its pissed me off : /

I’m so excited! My mom said I could decorate my room in a new way, and I decided on a movie theater theme!
I have a Mac computer so I can play movies on there. I was thinking of painting my walls dark red with maybe silver and gold stripe or polka dots. I would get one of those candy cabinets that are see-though and put a bunch of different candy bars and use that as my desk. My computer would be on top of that.
I wanted to print up a bunch of movie posters from old-fashioned movies and the actors in them in black and white around my room. I was thinking of maybe getting a frame that has a border like a roll of film or movie tickets and putting the pictures and posters in there. My mom said that while she was at Ikea while I was at school (can’t find this on the website) that there was this huge picture of the Eiffel Tower with a glass frame and little lights around it like in the dressing rooms in movies.
I have a mini popcorn machine I could put in my room and I might get a mini Icee machine and Target or something, too.
Any designing tips or furniture suggestions? Thanks!

including the stand. the thing is, its not the movie theater style its the antique style so does that mean it wont make theater popcorn? and how can i make theater popcorn with it? people have been saying that you don’t need one to make it but some have been saying u do so whats the deal? some have also been talking about coconut oil and something called flavolo or something. and how much of it do u need? and does that machine above make theater popcorn? is it top Quality?

The movie theater had to be evacuated–a popcorn machine had caught on fire– so we missed the end of the movie! Doug had just rescued Claire from Carroll (exploding ambulance, etc…) and they were in her apt. when she pulled a gun on him and said "You’re not really a cop… how did you know about my clothes, etc…" and she called his office to see if he was really an agent… Then the fire alarm went off and we left.

We would REALLY appreciate a detailed description of what happened after this… I don’t think it was very far to the end…

Hey, I was thinking of making a movie theater in my room, I have a cool vintage looking popcorn machine, and a projector. I was wondering if anyone had any idea how to make a real movie theater like seat out of folding chairs because I think that would really make it so much better! Or some other way to make seats that look like movie theater ones for not too much money.

I have a math project that i have to do and i am creating a movie theater… i need the dimensions for: one movie theater seat, a movie theater counter, a popcorn machine, the dimensions for arcade games (those big ones), a pretzel rotissery and anything related ot the concession stand, the ticket counter, the dimensions of a cash register, the dimensions for a table (to eat on) and yup! somewhere you can rent thats like a movie theater but you can bring your own movies and play them? somewhere with a popcorn machine and things like that, or would i just have to do it at home or just buy movie tickets

I recently purchased an antique popcorn machine at an auction. It is from a small movie theater that was converted to a fire hall in the 1920s. They had the popcorn machine in storage the entire time. It is in dire need of cosmetic repair. Mechanically, it works fine. I live in PA, 60 miles SW of Pittsburgh. I have looked around some, but cannot find anyone who does antique restoration. Can anyone help?

My mom runs this movie theater in town, and she brought home popcorn that was freshly popped in the machine but no one bought it. xD It’s like a whole garbage bag full. What should I do with it? I can’t possibly eat it all. Should I invite all my friends over to take what they want? XD
