Popcorn Machine looks like a cart on wheels I don’t know how much , if any, oil to put on the hot plate or what amount of kernals to add. Please advise.

So I have a popcorn machine and it’s a big one. It fell off the cart with I was transporting it and there is a crack in the fiberglass sign that say "popcorn" on the top.

Do you know anywhere that I can buy a fiberglass top for a popcorn machine?

Should I just try to make a new top. If yes, how would you go about making a new top?

I have a open corn maker on a cart, like the ones you find at bars. What is the best butter/oil to use to make it taste like bar popcorn. I’ve tried several kinds but they just don’t do it for me! Please help!
