Hey everyone! I’m planning my 14th birthday party at my house and I’m inviting the entire 8th grade. I already have most of the things decided, but I want to know if it sounds fun. Here’s what I’m planning:
1. I have a small mini put-put in my backyard, so I’ll get some balls & clubs for anyone who wants to play
2. I’m thinking about getting an inflatable jumper
3. Putting basketballs in my b-ball court for anyone who wants to play
4. Either a DJ or I’ll hook my iPod up to my Entertainment Center for music
5. A cotton candy machine & a popcorn machine
6. [opt.] I’ll have some good movies playing [stepbrothers, the dark knight, etc.]

My mom approved of everything on this list, but I want YOUR opinions.

I’m throwing a BIG carnival birthday party for my daughter, but it’s a surprise party so I cannot ask her what she would like. We are going to check with the village and rent a nearby field. I am planning on getting a moon bounce or two, but should I get an obstacle course bouncy house, a normal one? One of each? Also, I am planning on getting a cotton candy machine and a popcorn machine but what else would 13-year-old girls like to eat? Pizza? Hot dogs? What kind of carnival games would they like and who could I get to go in the dunk tank? Thank you for any answers. Best answer gets 10 points!

My son is turning one next month, and his little cousin is turning 2 around the same time. So we have decided to do a double party, as their birthdays are less than 2 weeks apart, and many of the same guests would come if their were two separate parties. I have never had my own birthday party, I have never planned a birthday party (other than my own which never would happen) so this event is so special to me. No one seems to understand how desperately I want this day to go perfect. The party is less than 3 weeks away, invitations have not been sent out, a theme is not set, outfits are not purchased, basically nothing is accomplished. I have been relentlessly researching online for party themes and ideas. We were going to do a Yo Gabba Gabba theme with costumes, but the soon to be 2 year old may fear them. Then came the idea to do Jack’s Big music show, but no merchandise is existent, I even was willing to make the puppets by hand so we could put a show on, but no one is crazy about the idea. I need ideas, this is frustrating me to no end. What would be cute themes or party ideas? I know I should keep it more simple, but I just want some ideas. A moon bounce, snow cone machine, popcorn machine and cotton candy machine will be rented for the day. That’s as far as we got. Help!

ok well my party is a dance party and it like a black light/neon light dance party
and i already got the ok WITH MY PARENTS on the band (the band is some of my friends)
all’s i have to do is get the ok on the band
it’s going to be rock and hip hop
i have alllllooot of cds like 500 songs lol and we have youtube andpossiblyy the band
and yes i have the down food and the music with my parents
my parents ARE going to bedown starss putting chips and other food out and stuff….going to be a littleembarrassingg dancing in front of them…buuuut oooh well lol
there will be 10-18 people there…so kind-of small
i just need decoration ideas and good questions to ask my parents.
besides the budget, date, time, invitations, the rsvp, clean up, food, area (were it’s going to be) etc.
it’s goin to be inside so i don’t need to worry bout the rain and of course it’s going to be at night
oh and yes i have a small colordiscoo ball,a lava lamp,food:pizza chips candy all kinds of soda and btw i do hav a popcorn machine instead of poping popcorn in themicrowavee
oh and ps: please not say the fog machine, glow sticks, and black light

I am turning 18 in a a little over a month, and I want to have a memorable birthday party, all out and extravagant.. I was thinking about doing a carnaval thing, with some games, popcorn machine, snow cones, funnel cakes, clowns and mimes and stuff like that.. What else would be good to make it altogether better? And, in case this doesnt end up going through, what are some other AMAZING themes, for either a small or BIG crowd, thanks! )

I was thinking of having a fun-fair themed birthday party for my 6-year-old. I have the venue (a large indoor hall), but what are some ideas to pull it off?
So far, I think I’ll have a hot-dog stand, corndogs, maybe popcorn, etc. I’m going to look into renting a cotton-candy machine.

What are some good fun-fair themed party games? (I cant afford renting any blow-up castles or other large equipment).

My husband and I are having my 6 year old stepson a birthday party. We have rented a popcorn and cotton candy machine. We were going to hire a clown but it’s way too expensive. I was wondering if you could give me some tips on what we could do for entertainment that won’t cost too much.
