How do you pop popcorn kerners without a popcorn machine?

I don’t have a machine, but I have popcorn kernels. How can I pop them in a pot?

Put a couple of tablespoons of oil in a pot and add some popcorn kernels when the oil is hot. Put the lid on and it will pop. Shake it back and forth a few times while it is popping. Use medium heat.

put a small amount of oil in the bottom of pot and then stir in popcorn kernels til coated. cover and cook on high shaking after it starts to pop and when popping almost stops it’s done

Place in a microwave-safe container and microwave kernels in covered container (but not on tight); wait until popping slows and enjoy! (Add your favorite toppings after the popcorn is done.)

Melt 2 -3 TB BUTTER in a kettle, add kernels and stir….watch for them to bubble, cover making sure to vent for steam, but not enough for kernels to fly out….Meanwhile melt a little extra butter in the nuker to pour over. When the pot gets full of popped corn turn off the heat, give it a few good shakes and sprinkle with salt and drizzle with melted butter….YUM!!! REAL Popcorn!!
