While at work i had slipped on some butter that had been leaking from a faulty popcorn machine. This unit was old and always breaking. We tried to get it fixed but it never got done. The facility is a nightmare and everything old and broken. My question is am I able to sue the company for negligence. Seeing that nothing got done and the oil from that machine was the catalyst of my accident. thanks

This has been an on going problem for several years and all the employees and corporate was aware of the problem. There was a time several months ago on closing the facility because of the faulty equipment. As a manager i always had to try and remedy the problem and clean up the mess.

i have a bag of corn and its infested with weevils. i use it only for popcorn and im guessing the popcorn machine kills all the bacteria left by the weevils.

is it dangerous to eat popcorn after that?
i was hoping to get a positive answer like " no its perfectly fine as long as it goes thru the intense heat" but o well i just ate a pack of that popcorn.

So i work at a movie theater around my town (im 16) and last night i was at concessions. I had this woman come up and she was like " i want a large popcorn, some skittles and a large coke" so i was like "okay hold on" and i had to finish what i was making my other customer first. And this rude lady was like "hurry up with my order" and i didnt hear her and she screamed "HELLO!!!" and it scared me and so i turned around really fast and i burned my arm on the popcorn machine. and she laughed and said "you got what you deserved"

and i got mad at her laughing and i said something to her i shouldnt have and she went to my manager and got me fired. I didnt even get the chance to explain to him what happened. i just dont think thats fair.

i now have a huge burn on my arm and im fired.

its pissed me off : /

ok so i was playing a game last week and forgot to save it to my favorites… my cookies have since then been deleted as well as my history…
the game is like dinner dash but has to deal with getting people their drinks…. there is a glass cutter, popcorn machine and a little parrot that can help you with serving drinks if you get into a jam… you can upgrade sandals and all the other machines…. anyone know what im talking about??
it has a tropical theme on the first wave and the second is a desert…. there are like 12 or 14 levels on each wave…???
nope… it only deals with giving people drinks… nothing else but popcorn to extend the time that they will stand there…

So I went out with this guy to the movies and he said he was going out for some popcorn… so I wonder what is taking him so long and when I go to the popcorn machine! he is kissing Alice (my best friend) on the lips.. not jut kissing. they are making out! OMG i was like sooo offended. he later tells me that he tripped over her and kissed her. My best friend didn’t know we were dating but now she likes him and i like him too!!! what should i do?? i am sooo confused right now.

My Dream House

My dream house will be a masterpiece, full of beauty. It will contain a grand family room, a gorgeous dining room, connected to a stainless steal appliance kitchen and the master suite, which will be my favorite room.

My family room is grand. My brick fireplace, placed in from of my comfy cream rap round couch. Above my fireplace, hanging on the cream colored wall is a forty-inch Samsung flat screen TV. In the corner of the family room is my blue fluffy and comfy recliner, which was bought for my father when he comes to visit. The best thing about this room is the popcorn Machine, you can pop some popcorn before you watch a movie and then you can sit down with a big bowl of it. Connected to my flat screen is my V.C.R my D.V.D player and my movie projector. This allows us to play any type of movie, at any given time. The speakers built into the walls, and underneath the couch allows the surround sound to shake the house and to invite you into whatever movie you are watching. The flooring of the family room is a oak hardwood, with brown and beige area rugs, which I would place in front of the couch. On the left wall there is a window about three feet by three feet, with beige, cream, and brown curtains. This window allows just enough light in to lighten up the room. My family room will feel welcoming as soon as I open up the front door to let you in, you will feel warm, and comforted by the love my home will bring.

My gorgeous dining area is a romantic place to eat, while it contains a beautiful chandelier above the chestnut ding table, which can place up to eight people. Most of the light comes from an enormous six-foot window with cherry red curtains, which is located at the fare end of the room, facing the back yard. My old faded chestnut grandfather clock was bought from an antique auction; I placed it opposite of the archway in, which you come into the dining room from the kitchen. The kitchen is a fun stainless steal appliance kitchen with stainless steal counters too. The details in my kitchen will be extravagant with hand towels having pictures of apples on them, and my fridge even having apple shaped magnets. The cream tiled flooring is heated throughout, so when you making a pot of coffee in the morning your little toes will still stay warm. The best thing about my kitchen will be the window above the sink with curtains that contain apples on it. But if you don’t want to take your time to decorate and set up the table in the dining room you can just sit down and enjoy dinner, lunch, breakfast, in your kitchen at you finished oak table that holds a family of four, and the lighting overhead is a ceiling fan with an oak finish and energy conserved lights.
The master suite is full of relaxing in my Jacuzzi and lighting the fireplace to enjoy a warm bathroom. In my master bathroom I have heated cream tiled floors with light blue area rugs. There are no windows in my bathroom because my bathroom is all-full of privacy. The fireplace in my bathroom is wonderful; it is one of the ways it keeps my bathroom warm in the winter. The toilet and shower are on the same wall, and my Jacuzzi is right on the other side of the wall, which contain s the two bathroom sinks and gigantic mirror in which I placed a light fixture above. My bed is right there too the best thing is, is that you can locate my bathroom from the hallway and my bedroom. So, my bed is king sized with oak finished nightstand, dresser, and the frame for my bed. While I lay there at night I can watch TV on the flat screen, and listen with my surround sound. My fireplace is placed right under my flat screen, and my cream area rug right in front of that. The lighting in my room are the lamps, and the ceiling light. They are LED so then I can save a little money and have a brighter room.
So I think that the master suite is my favorite place to be, cuddled up in my covers all day long with a fire goi

Because when you say Jak, I think bum. I say Jak, you say bum. Jak!” Chewy, and the champs say, ‘Bum!” “Jak!” “Bum!” “Jak!” “Bum!” “Go bum!” Jak yelled, “Ham, ha! Very funny! You dare defy the name Jak. Well, I’ll make you pay for that. Tonight, I want to face you in a Falls Count Anywhere Match! And my friends here want to face the three behind here.” Daffy then appeared on the screen, saying, “Jak, that sounds like a good idea. Both of those will happen tonight. But, I have an even bigger match for the main event tonight. Tonight, we will have a Cage Match between Beatdown Champ King Arty & Lil Wayne in a non title preview to this Sunday’s match at Your Death Wish.”
We begin the night with Garfield facing the return of Dr. Dre. It was a great match. Dre was dominating the whole match and was about to hit a Drop da Mic. But Marvin the Martian came out to distract the ref while Strong Mad came from the other side. Mad went on the mat and picked Dre up off of the turnbuckle. He then chokeslammed him. Both him and Marvin left to leave the ref back to his job. Garfield got up and hit a Lasagna Rollup to get the win. After the win, Marvin & Mad, along with Piglet, Pooh, & Casper, came into the ring and joined Garfield in a vicious attack against Dr. Dre. By the time they were done with him, Dre was a bloody mess.
Ronald McDonald, Grimace, & Ronald Hamburgler faced off against Chewbacca, Calvin, & Hobbes. It was a great match. The Jak Attak members were winning thanks to some cheating. Grimace was about to spear Hobbes, but as he ran, a masked man came from under the ring and pulled Hobbes out, causing Grimace to run right through the rope. He put Hobbes back in, who tagged in to Chewy. Chewy brought Grimace in and Millennium Falcon Clothelined him for the win. After the winning team left, the mask came In the ring with a chair and hit Ronald & Hamburgler. He then put it down and hit a Piledriver on Grimace on the chair. He took his mask off to reveal himself to be King Cookie. He spit in Grimace’s face before leaving the Jak Attak members helpless in the ring.
Jak & IN Champ Han solo faced off in a non-title Falls Count Anywhere Match. It was a great match. The two were fighting everywhere. They went into the crowd and violently fought, with some fans getting splashed by blood. Solo was taking the advantage as they were going out of the stands and into the lobby. Solo tossed Jak over the counter in a food stand. He got a fork and stabbed Jak a few times with it before Jak grabbed his hand and stopped it. He twisted Solo’s wrist and took the advantage. He shoved Solo’s face in the deep fryer. Solo broke out and put Jak’s head in the popcorn machine and turned it on. The popcorn got hot and started popping, scarring and burning Jak’s face. Solo hit an Aerial Assault from the counter and pinned, but Tony the Tiger came from the blue with his title and hit Solo. He put Solo’s head in the sink with a bunch of utensil’s and turned the hot water on. He practically drowned Solo before pulling him of and throwing some utensils on Solo. He put Jak on him and let him pin for the win. Tony & Jak celebrated over a bloody Solo.
It was main event time as Beatdown Champ King Arty & Lil Wayne squared off in a Steel cage Match. It was an amazing match. They used the steel cage to their advantage, with both being bloody messes in matter of minutes. Both Arty & Wayne climbed the cage, very close to each other. As they were climbing up the side, they fought as well, trying to get the other off. Arty was the won who won that little battle. And he was home free. He was just about to fall when Ice Cube & Eazy E came out with a table and set it up right at the bottom of the cage. They got on and double teamed Arty, who was also on the table. They kept fighting and Arty almost escaped, but Ice & Eazy grabbed him. Eazy held him onto the cage as Ice Cube pulled some barbed wire out of his pocket. He tied Arty down to the cage with the wire as Wayne slowly escaped through the door. When he got out, he went over to the table and got Arty’s championship and slammed it into Arty’s face over and over again. Before the show ended, he yelled, “See you Sunday!”

I’m looking for the name of a programme that was shown on ITV around 2001-2004. It was about families and the kids re-designed the house while the parents went away. For example, they would replace one room with a cinema with a popcorn machine and I think one show even had the kids install a money machine. It’s really bugging me as I used to watch it all the time when I was younger but I can’t remember the name.

There was also another programme where families transformed themselves into bands/singers(it wasn’t Stars in their Eyes). I remember one family turned themselves into The Bangles.

If you could name them then that would be great help as they are really annoying me!

So, I’m turning 16 next year! Yeah, I said next year, but these things take a long time to plan.
My birthday is in the middle of summer, and all I’ve ever done is have a river/backyard/luau themed party. I want something different.
Since I already have my car and am not getting one for my Sweet 16, hopefully I can go a little higher in the budget.
I am not spoiled, other than the fact that my "Grandpa" owns a limo company, so I can get a limo occasionally.

Here are the ideas I’ve been thinking of recently:
1) Highlighter party- everybody wears white, there are black-lights and glowing things everywhere, and we just go highlighter crazy and colour each other. If I choose this theme, the party will most likely be held in some sort of club (I live in West Virginia, so venues are kind of hard to come by). I’ll probably buy DJ Hero or get a DJ booth set up where everyone can take turns DJing.

2) Under The Sea theme- Lots of blue’s and green’s, a sequin dress (or two!). This theme is a little outdated, but since it’s the middle of summer, it makes sense.

3) Candyland theme- This theme was inspired by this cake (http://www.pinkcakebox.com/images/cake665.jpg) and the music video for "California Gurls"! Very colourful, the invitation comes in the form of a candy necklace that you can’t get in without, etc. (Sorry, my brain is kind of fried right now!)

4) Carnival/fair theme- (I know it’s not the same thing, blahblahblah ;P) The fair usually comes around that time of year, so I was thinking since Grandpa knows basically everyone in town, he could hook me up and maybe have it like shut down or something for the day. I’ve never been on a ferris wheel before, so that would be really cool (: If not, just a backyard party. Game booths, popcorn machine, prizes, cotton candy machine, and just the usual fair stuff.

I also would like to have a performer. I was thinking someone like Justin Bieber, VersaEmerge, NeverShoutNever, or Katy Perry. I’m not sure if this can happen because of cost, but if it can, who would you like to see if you could go?

@Summer: I understand where you’re coming from with the performer thing. I have people I know who are in bands, but I’m not sure they’re the type of music I’d want played at my party, even though that’s the type of music I generally listen to.

I was actually thinking of a Disney Princess theme (Not sure which one), but since my skin is darker, people think I can’t pull it off. *EYE ROLL*

Actually, now I was thinking that I would get some people together and do a hip-hop dance, and have a dance party. Dance parties are like really common these days though.
